PROCEDURES FOR EXPORTING THE CARROT

One of the necessary procedures but not required is the application for export plant quarantine certificate. This certificate is especially necessary for foreign partners to import procedures.

To export agricultural products in general and fresh carrots in particular, enterprises need to do export quarantine when doing customs procedures. To register for quarantine, we need to prepare:

- Letter of introduction
- Copy of business registration certificate
- Copy of packing list
- Registration for export plant quarantine in the form of Appendix IV (Issued together with Circular No. 33/2014 / TT-BNNPTNT dated October 30, 2014 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development)

You should also note that the Regional Plant Quarantine Bureau or the Plant Protection Department will need to check the sample before issuing a quarantine certificate. So if your company is near or can give samples to be issued faster certificates, or the monitoring department of the Regional Plant Quarantine Department will have to check the actual and take samples at the port.

In case of taking samples at ports, enterprises will have to wait longer because they need to store at the port to take goods out, invite the monitoring department to take time to take samples from the port to the regional department.

After obtaining the certificate of plant quarantine for export, we add to the customs file to clear the declaration. Customs dossiers include:

- Letter of introduction
- Export customs declarations
- Copy of invoice
- Certificate of export quarantine
- Booking confirmation of the carrier

When customs clearance declarations, enterprises put goods into customs warehouses to supervise, supervise customs procedures, weigh goods volume, measure goods size and perform security screening.
